CREATION OF SERVICE SPACES AND TECHNICAL AREAS
PAPEETE MARINA – FRENCH POLYNESIA

The main goal of this project is to make the water front more attractive. Located at the entrance of the Papeete Port, the Marina facilities are easily identified from the maritime area and are pointed out by its architecture and developments. A green mound on the city side is gathering the whole program features, offering an acoustic protection, minimizing the visual impact and is participating in the landscaping and the highlighting of the place thanks to the creation of a public park.
The building, lurked on the ground, has a sole water front façade and has a strong connection with the Papeete bay and the Marina. The Port Offices with its spiky wooden masts, is emerging from the concrete slab as a landmark from the sea, a signal, an identity or an anchored Marina at the bottom of the bay.
