Reorganization of the public spaces in the “Les Issambres” Harbor

The main idea regarding this architectural design of the structure was to work on a double layer basis and superposition of partial horizontal and unevenly fragmented panels creating a dynamic effect on the structure itself. The empty and full volumes game are projecting shadows on the ground that are irregular in terms of intensity and sizes. The ground layout is reflecting the pergolas cuts with various shades in order to magnify the lighting effects. This Public Space turns into a pleasant place in total harmony with the sea and the sun movements. This space has become lively and naturally alive.
